He demonstrated forgiveness that he couldn’t have on his own. God gave Pastor Thompson the words to say as he stood & forgave this hate-filled killer in the courtroom. After doing so, Thompson talked about the peace he had immediately afterwards. How a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders. He also mentioned that the killer no longer had any control over him through anger & unforgiveness.
